Special-shaped ceramic panel No. 6

The forming process of special-shaped ceramic slab relief involves cutting cubic column-shaped clay into rectangular ceramic slabs, which are then spliced, gaps filled, and leveled. A projection device is used to copy the pattern drawn on a white cloth onto the ceramic slab. The entire slab is then irregularly cut into pieces of varying sizes and shapes, ensuring the integrity of key parts of the pattern. The pieces undergo processes such as rehydration, sculpting, glazing, matte glaze treatment, drying, and firing, resulting in a special-shaped ceramic slab relief. This creates a natural and cohesive sense of returning to simplicity.

Terracotta bricks are actually a type of clay brick, primarily solid bricks, and are the product of continuous optimization and upgrading of traditional craftsmanship. Typically made from high-quality clay, even purple clay, and fired at high temperatures, terracotta bricks consist mainly of natural clay with aggregates like quartz and feldspar, forming a type of masonry brick after sintering. As a low-temperature brick, terracotta bricks are fired at around 800°C and exhibit high water absorption, generally ranging between 8% and 10%.

The cavity structure design of grooved ceramic panels significantly reduces the material's self-weight, lessens the load on the curtain wall structural system, and enhances thermal insulation, energy efficiency, sound insulation, and noise reduction, improving the building's economic performance and comfort. The vacuum high-pressure extrusion molding method provides the ceramic panels with greater strength.
