Terracotta bricks are actually a type of clay brick, primarily solid bricks, and are the product of continuous optimization and upgrading of traditional craftsmanship. Typically made from high-quality clay, even purple clay, and fired at high temperatures, terracotta bricks consist mainly of natural clay with aggregates like quartz and feldspar, forming a type of masonry brick after sintering. As a low-temperature brick, terracotta bricks are fired at around 800°C and exhibit high water absorption, generally ranging between 8% and 10%.
